My name is Stephanie, but friends can call me Stevie.

I want to work with people who like to stand out.

I want to work with people who like to stand out

People who aren't afraid to be unique, or to go to the end of the earth for perfection.

I work with those who believe in iteration, and that are never satisfied with low-hanging fruit.

Choosing your Favorite Child

Back in 2015, product designers first started having the discussion of flat vs. rendered. As a digital illustrator, at first I resisted flat design because I felt that it was losing a certain je ne sais quois. But once I learned more about SVG, how it could be manipulated using CSS and barely weigh anything when it comes to download, I was intrigued. This art was done during a web design project where I was needing to choose what direction we were going to go in. We did end up choosing the rendered style with a vintage grain.

Illustration Style Practice for Games

As you can see from the Spaceship project above, selecting the right theme to use in a game or brand is really important when you want to convey a feeling or create an experience. Here is a selection of pieces that I've done to try to stretch my stylistic abilities.
