Staring Off into Space

Back in 2015, product designers first started having the discussion of flat vs. rendered. As a digital illustrator, at first I resisted flat design because I felt that it was losing a certain je ne sais quois. But once I learned more about SVG, how it could be manipulated using CSS and barely weigh anything when it comes to download, I was intrigued. This art was done during a web design project where I was needing to choose what direction we were going to go in. We did end up choosing the rendered style with a vintage grain.
